The futurity was held July 8th in Tillamook at the State Holstein Show. The futurity is devoted to the interest and promotion of the breed. The 2011 Oregon Main Event Sale was held the evening of July 8th in Tillamook. A pre-sale dinner and social started off a fun evening. The 2011 Sale Chairmen were Allan Hanselman and Marc Koch. The Auctioneer was Garry Hansen and pedigrees were read by Hanselman. The sale averaged $1942 on 30 head.
• Top Seller was Lot 1: a pick of flush consigned by Durer & MB-Luckylady and purchased by the Bolton Syndicate of Tillamook, OR
• 2nd high seller was Lot 2: consigned by Dean and Patti Tohl and purchased by Alex Lehner of Ridgefield, WA
